Tensioned Cable Hardware - Provides a solid perimeter and support foundation to which all types of bird netting can be fastened.

Connection Hardware - Hardware used to connect the cable to the corner hardware, turnbuckles and the netting mesh.

Stainless Steel hook and eye turnbuckles are available in 3 sizes.
Galvanized hook and eye turnbuckles are available in 2 sizes.
Tensions the length of cables used to anchor Nixalite’s bird netting or fence products.
Hook & eye design makes cable connections a simple process.
Takes sag or stretch out of cable and ropes after installation. Allows re-tensioning after installation due to cable or rope stretch.

Maximum tensioned cable length by turnbuckle size:

Small turnbuckle – 25 feet (7.62 M) unbroken cable length
Medium turnbuckle - 50 feet (15.24 M) unbroken cable length
Large turnbuckle* - 75 feet (22.8 M) unbroken cable length
Runs beyond 75 feet (22.8 M) are not recommended. If circumstances require unbroken runs of cable that are longer than 75 feet, use a large turnbuckle at each end of the cable run.

When and Where to use Nixalite Hook & Eye Turnbuckles:

Use at least one turnbuckle on each run of cable.
Do not turn corners of a perimeter cable installation without installing at least one turnbuckle.
Each large eyebolt or screw eye will accept connections from up to 4 small turnbuckles, 3 medium turnbuckles or 2 large turnbuckles.
Use to tension corner support cables used to stabilize fence posts.
Most commonly used with Nixalite’s Tensioned Perimeter Cable Hardware. Can be used with deer and perimeter fencing hardware and any overhead cable grid systems.

Stainless Steel Hook & Eye Turnbuckle Installation Tips:

Always install the turnbuckles at the maximum safe open length. This allows for the most amount of tensioning in the cables.
When fastening cable to the turnbuckles, always make the loop connection to the eye end of the turnbuckle – never to the hook end of the turnbuckle.
