Twist Loks installation specs

To install, push an open Twist Lok through overlapped layers of netting. Twist the nodes of the Twist Lok 180o to close it around the layers of netting. To remove, twist the nodes in the opposite direction and pull out of the netting.
To join seams, overlap the nets and push an open Twist Lok over the netting. Enclose as many net strands (from both nets) inside the Twist Lok as possible. Space the Twist Loks every 6” along both edges of the overlap seam.
To seal up cuts or patches, install Twist Loks every 3” along the cut. Make sure to enclose one strand of net from both sides of the cut.
Twist Loks are not intended for use on tensioned netting installations. If the netting has a tensioned perimeter cable, use either the Net Ties or the Net Rings to hold sections of netting together.

When and Where to Use the Twist Loks

Use Twist Loks to hold two pieces of netting together. Use to join seams or edges of netting together, seal cuts or openings and hold patches or repairs in place.
Twist Loks can be used for access behind the netting after installation. Cut slits or 3 sided openings and seal them shut with Twist Loks. To gain access, untwist and remove the Twist Loks. Remember to reinstall the Twist Loks afterwards.
Twist Loks are commonly used with the PollyNet and lighter nets like the crop nets and pond cover nets.

Twist Lok Installation Tips:

When installing along seams or joining two long sections of netting together, overlap the netting at least 6” and install a Twist Lok every 6” along both sides of the overlapped netting. Stagger the Twist Lok spacing to avoid any gaps in the seams.
Make sure to get strands from both nets in each Twist Lok. The more strands you can engage inside the Twist Loks the better.
