Nixalite HD Pigeon Trap 36x16x8

The Model 502.5R Nixalite HD Pigeon trap has a new and improved design with input from wildlife specialists. Fully assembled and ready to use, this trap can hold 15 or more pigeons at a time. It is 36"L x 16"W x 8"H, weighs 7 pounds and is constructed of 1" x 1" - 14 gauge galvanized steel wire mesh. Use on flat and level surfaces. This trap has two one-way doors that allow pigeons to enter but not to exit. A large access door on top makes bird removal easy. Provide a small water source along with the appropriate bait.

Basic Trapping Guidelines

Pre-bait the problem area for several days before placing the trap.
Position the trap down flat with the trap doors facing out to clear approaches.
To acclimate the birds to the trap, wire the doors open and place feed on top and inside the trap.
Once birds are acclimated to area and the trap, release the doors to capture the birds.
Inspect traps every day to remove trapped birds and to add bait and water as needed.
If trapping in direct sunlight, you can create shade by partially or fully covering the trap with a weather resistant material.
Do not leave birds in the trap for long periods of time.
Be sure to clean the trap between settings.
